This is difficult and worrying times for us all. The Corona virus is spreading across the world and affecting us all. Currently there are only 12 confirmed cases in Tanzania but the real number is inevitably much higher. With many people living in poverty with health issues, and families living in small spaces, the virus could have a devastating impact in the country. With the vast majority of disabled people living in poverty, this is particularly true for the people that Just Wheels supports and works with.
Just Wheels UK is working with our Tanzanian staff to see how we can support disabled people through this crisis. We are also looking ahead to ensure we are in a good position to hit the ground running when the crisis is over.
